User Guide Series: Homer and Jean Blair Collection of United States Patent Models Wicket

Wicket (Ticket Window), U. S. 270,309, January 9, 1883, M. La Rue Harrison and Franklin Underhill, Washington, DC and Stamford Connecticut.

The invention is a wicket, ticket wicket, or post office window that is hinged and arranged so it may be swung either in or out, yet prevents air drafts from entering through the window.

The model is 9" x 13" and made of wood and metal parts with a glass window. It is in excellent working condition. Two Patent Office tags remain.
