77TH CONGRESS 1st Session

SENATE REPORT No. 568

REGISTRATION OF TRADE--MARKS TO CARRY OUT PROVISIONS OF INTERNATIONAL CONVENTIONS JULY 22 (legislative day, JULY 21), 1941.----Ordered to be printed

Mr. BONE from the Committee on Patents, submitted the following

REPORT

[To accompany S. 895]

The Committee on Patents, to whom was referred the bill (S. 895) to provide for the registration of trade--marks used in commerce, to carry out the provisions of certain international conventions, and for other purposes, having considered the same, report the bill favorably, without amendment, and recommend that it be passed.

Inasmuch as a complete report on this bill was made from the Senate Committee on Patents by Mr. Danaher during the Seventy--sixth Congress, third session (Rept. No. 1562), no lengthy report on this bill seems necessary. Mr. Danaher reported on H. R. 6618, which was amended by the Senate Committee on Patents and reported favorably, as amended. The attached bill, S. 895, is the same as the Senate Committee print of H. R. 6618, as reported May 1, 1940, by Mr. Danaher. The Senate Committee on Patents adopts the previous Report No. 1562.
